Who can request face coverings?
You can request up to 100 homemade face coverings if you are:
How it works:
- a health or social care provider, a registered charity or a community group
- serving or representing poor or vulnerable people
- a staff member, volunteer or someone who can demonstrate a connection to the group.
How it works:
- Please check that you/your group are eligible
- Click on the button below and fill in your details
- You will receive an email confirming we have received your request
- You will receive the face coverings in small batches because they will be sewn by individuals around the country
- Depending on our sewists, this process may take some time. So please let us know if your need for face coverings changes at any point while you are receiving them
- Let us know when you have received all the face coverings you requested so we can thank our sewists
- Wash all your face coverings before using as they are made in people's homes.
Further information about eligibility
You can request face coverings IF YOU ARE:
■ A health or social care provider, a registered charity (i.e. not-for-profit) or an informal community group. Informal groups must provide some form of evidence of their existence (e.g. a facebook page, website, landline phone number, etc.), and tell us what it is they do.
AND YOU ARE
■ serving and/or representing poor or vulnerable communities. We reserve the right to refuse any charity or group we do not believe to be legitimately serving and/or representing poor or vulnerable communities.
AND YOU ARE
■ A staff member or volunteer who can demonstrate a connection to the group (evidence might include an email address with the same domain name as the website, appearance on the website or facebook group, confirmation from a confirmed staff member that you are connected to the group, etc.).
